Hi, I'm Nicola Maglio
I am a versatile marketer for climate startups. My purpose is to help create an economy that regenerates the Earth.
My journey
I was born and raised in Italy, studied in France and Taiwan, and spent some time in Latin America.
My quest for a bigger-than-life mission sprouted from my aesthetic sense. I thought the world was becoming uglier and uglier, both physically and spiritually.
I identified the disconnect with nature as the principal cause of ugliness. So, I decided my work would focus around restoring the connection between humanity and the environment.
I chose to do marketing because I believe a change in culture will be the biggest driver in the transition towards a regenerative economy. Marketing shapes culture.
In December 2019, I stumbled upon GreenForges, a daring underground farming startup that was looking for a co-founding Chief Marketing Officer. That's where my journey in climate tech began.
How I work
My core strength is my versatility. I have expertise in design, coding and many facets of marketing, with deeper specialization in strategy, branding, digital marketing and PR.
The acknowledgement of my strengths made me choose to focus on startups. I thrive in chaos and am at ease with novelty. I am a strategic thinker, but I like to get my hands dirty.
I would describe my working style as raw and high-energy. I speak straight and get stuff done.

I like to practice boxing, cooking and DJing (house and techno, the good stuff).
My favorite creator is Bald and Bankrupt.
I speak five languages (Italian, French, English, Spanish and 中文）
I like to travel off the beaten path and learn about local cultures.
